Orchid Bee Painting - Watercolor Orchid Bee Original orchid bee watercolour on 100% cotton paper - 26cm wide by 14cm high. This purple and puce pollinator stopped me in my tracks! His shiny iridescent armature and feathery phalanges are simply fantastic. I loved working his body shape out of rose of ultramarine, manganese blue and lavender plus soft buff titaniums and chocolates for those wings.
